Prices start from £350 for the basic kit without battery. Various battery options are available and priced accordingly.

This will of course depend on your usage. During testing our field testers were achieving on average 3-5 miles per charge with the standard battery, and 5-8 miles per charge on the long-range battery.

We use a 24V, 350W hub motor. The motor is driven through a planetary gearbox with a 3:1 reduction. This gives it a greater torque to power up the hills or through the mud.

Yes, the geared motor is less free-wheeling than the standard wheel, however it’s very easy to push without the barrow driving. There is no clutch to operate, just push it as if it was a normal wheel.

All of the motorised wheels we offer have tubeless pneumatic tyres.

If you’re worried about punctures then we recommend SLIME tyre sealant, which will both prevent, or repair a puncture in the tyre. We are a UK distributor of the new 2-in-1 sealant, which you can find on our website here.

We also offer replacement tyres for the carp barrows here, and will soon have spares for the smaller match style kits.

Yes, the kit has a connector for the throttle which allows you to remove the handles as normal. There is also a connector for the wheel, so this also slips off just like the standard wheel. These are included as standard with all kits.

We currently offer kits for the most common barrow types, we are adding more models all the time. Chances are that if your barrow is not currently listed, we can offer a custom kit for you. Please get in touch if your barrow is not listed, and we’ll work with you to build a kit.

No, the kit is complete with everything you need. The controller and battery will be placed in your main barrow bag, everything else mounts to the frame. You may wish to opt for the pannier bag to keep the battery and controller in, or the smaller battery bag to protect them in your barrow bag. We also offer some accessories to enhance the functionality of the kit, but these are not required for just energising your barrow.

Currently we offer the kit as a self-fit option, it is very easy to do and takes approx 15 minutes. No drilling or altering of your barrow is required. Full instructions are included in the user manuals which you can download from our website here.

We have a workshop in Romsey, Hampshire where you are welcome to visit us with your barrow. We can fit the kit for you in about 15 minutes. If you’re not local, and you can tie a knotless knot, you’re more than qualified to fit this kit!

We offer 1 year warranty on all parts. The lifespan of the battery will very much depend on how it’s looked after. Accidental damage of parts due to poor fitting are not covered (pinched cables etc.)
